LINER NOTES

WARRIOR's DANCE by Pete Murder Tone

60 mins of raw early UK digital Roots & Dub

Dub and Reggae wrote its own history in the UK. Especially when digital gear
came into play during the mid-80s the music developed a quite different feel
there than in Jamaica.

Check how dub found its very unique sound then and the first of the now
classic steppers were created - by using the strange YAMAHA-DX7 synth! And
be impressed by how much deepness can be created with those funny 80s sounds!
Jah Shaka, Dread & Fred's 'WARRIOR's STANCE', The Disciples, Alpha & Omega,
Iration Steppas & much more! For the special feel PETE originally recorded
this mix on a REAL cassette! Digitized from there.

Read the full liner notes on the mixtape HERE!

And check Pete's highly interesting interview with The Disciples!
